This course is suitable for staff working in Luton with pregnant parents and babies.
Supporting a Safe & Healthy Start for babies in Luton from conception and during the early months after birth.
This course developed in partnership with Public Health highlights the way different ‘tubes’ provide oxygen to the baby and developing brain – from conception through the umbilical ‘tube’ and once born through the airway ‘tube’.
Don’t miss this opportunity to develop your knowledge base which will give you the confidence and understanding to explain not just the how, but the why, to help parents understand and protect their baby.
Once you have attended the course you may choose to cascade the training to your own teams and use the knowledge to have informed conversations with parents about our key messages relating to safe sleeping and reducing the risks associated with Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
You will receive a certification of attendance plus a Tubes of Life resource pack including a training video.
Flying Start offers a range of free training opportunities to all professionals working in Luton.
All courses are free for staff who work in Luton. However there may be a charge of £75 for non-attendance or cancellation less than 5 working days before the training.
