COVID-19 UPDATE
Safe at Home are still offering FREE Home Safety checks to all Luton households.

We encourage families to APPLY ONLINE via the tab – a member of the Safe at Home team will contact the parent/guardian to book an appointment with our service. *Applications from families living outside of Luton will be declined and advised to contact their own health visitor for guidance.

OUR SERVICE INCLUDES:

‘Telephone’ Home Safety Assessment for families with 0-5’s who live in LUTON
A booking slot will be offered with a qualified safety advisor who will talk through a room-by-room safety questionnaire over the phone with parent/guardian on an agreed date/time covering each room within the home. The advisor will provide the relevant safety advice to help reduce the risk of accidental injury to under 5’s and a copy of the completed questionnaire is then emailed to the parent/guardian, enabling them to make the recommended changes to improve child safety in-and-around the home.

If the household is entitled to free equipment fitting, once the Telephone Home Safety Assessment is completed, an installation slot will be arranged with our approved installer (Bedfordshire Fire Service). *All household members must be clear of any COVID symptoms on the day of installation, otherwise the fitting slot will need to be rescheduled.
